OCHA

Overton County Horseman's Association (OCHA) is a Saddle Club geared towards clean family fun.  OCHA is part of the Tennessee Saddle Clubs Association (TSCA).  OCHA meets each Friday night April thru July to compete for points to qualify to compete at the TSCA State Competition on Labor Day weekend in Lebanon TN.  OCHA is located at the Overton County Fairgrounds in Livingston TN.

Membership is $30.00 a year for single or family.

There is an additional $3.00 fee for each Friday night that you ride to help pay for maintence.  Where else can the family go and have fun for $3.00?

OCHA Particpants that placed at the State Show and placed:  Greg Archer - 3rd Halter Stallions and 3rd Men's Western Pleasure; Marissa Sealy - HM 17 & Under Hunter under Saddle and 10th 13-17 Western Pleasure; Summer Walker - Leadline; LeaAnn Archer - 4th Women's Western Pleasure; Mikala Brown - 7th 12 & Under Poles; Cora Hinson - 7th 6 & Under Barrels; Maddy Shaw 4th 12 & Under Barrels; Sara Walker - 10th 12 & Under Barrels; Page Cooper - 2nd 13-17 Barrels and Shelby Grimsley - 15th in 13-17 Barrels.

Other OCHA Members that represented other local clubs and placed at the State Show were:  Freddie Paul (White Co) - 3rd in 50 & Over Poles and 4th in 50 & Over Barrels.  Chuck Collier (Rickman) 2nd Halter Mares and 6th in Halter Geldings; Mackenzie Poston (Rickman) 1st in 12 & Under Poles and record breaker, 6th in 12 & Under 1 Barrel, 7th in 12 & Under Figure 8 and 3rd in 12 & Under Barrels; Cade Poston - 3rd 12 & Under Poles; Cody Poston - 13th 13-17 Poles.
